This is terrible. I have 3 cats and lots of wool. After 10 years, the Dyson brush is worn out. I thought I'd save a few bucks and bought this one, it's an awful brush. It leaves stains on the carpet, you have to do it over and over again, then each time you have to remove the cat hair from the brush as it will wind up and clog the brush. This happened every 6-9 months or more with the original Dyson. Don't waste your money, buy original.

Dyson DC15 roller brush unit arrived quickly and in perfect condition. This is the second kit I have installed on our Dyson DC15 in 12 years! As before, the brushes were almost worn out before I installed this set. This was after many hours of cleaning our lovely dogs long hair! Both times I replaced the roller brush unit and gave the DC15 a thorough cleaning, it worked like a new vacuum! We are very happy with our DC15 and how easy it is to keep it running after so many years.

The picture speaks for itself. I ordered this product for my Dyson DC15. Removed suction head, installed new brushes and put on gray plastic plugs. And the shorter brush is the wrong size. The long brush fits, but the new shorter brush is too long so the end caps can't be attached, meaning I can't use my vacuum with this attachment. I have just installed this brush roll to replace a Dyson original part. We've probably changed the brush roll 3-4 times - it seems we need a new one every 1-2 years.
