Terrible Tool Ruined My Exhaust Pipes

After trying this automotive tool I`m extremely disappointed in the results. The cutting was uneven and incomplete, leaving me with jagged and rough edges on my exhaust pipes. The only positive aspect was its ease of use. However, the cons far outweigh the pros with this product. Save your money and invest in a better quality stud cutter for your performance car. .

Pros
  • Efficiently cuts and trues engine and cylinder head studs for a better fit and improved performance.
Cons
  • Requires a certain level of expertise and precision to use, which may be challenging for novice engine builders.

Cutter works in good condition: Replacement Parts

Take your time and keep the tool straight. Make sure you use a good power drill when going this route. I cut holes in a head not thinking it could be a pilot effect. It wasn't a good idea to do this, plus there would be less tapping material if I waited to thread. Oh, using cutting fluid really helped keep the tool sharp and cool. The tool can be used without much machining experience if the pilot has an unthreaded bore and lubrication is used. Hopefully someone else isn't as naive as I am, but

Pros
  • Installation Type: Vehicle Specific
Cons
  • Socket Required
