I will just share my opinion that I chose to replace the ASUS ROG Theta 7.1 gaming headset because the aforementioned headset has serious problems with the software and, in fact, it can only be used as a stereo. I considered, this time, exactly the bundle: a hotel sound card + a headset, and my choice eventually led to this headset and the Creative AE-5 Plus card. Best thing for the money, glad I did it.

I took these headphones for listening to music (from techno to metal) and work (phone calls); The reviews say that the microphone is average, but I was impressed by the recording quality. This is the first time I've heard my voice so bassy; I considered beyerdinamic custom game, Logitech g pro x, steelseries arctic 7 as competitors, and all of them are revealed to their full potential only thanks to either software or usb sound (like Logitech), or do not support surround sound on consoles /โ€ฆ

Pros
  • The sound is even in the lows, highs and mids. I would call these headphones universal, for high-quality listening to everything. An important plus is that the headphones sound good without additional sound cards and any software. Turned on and went. This parameter suffers from many contemporaries. Great fit on the head. There are no problems with medium and large ear sizes. The ear practically does not touch the speaker. The earcups fit snugly to the head and isolate the sound well. For the home, that's it. Small sounds do not interfere, but if someone breaks in the door, you will hear. The material of the ear pads is fabric and there is no risk that it will crack like any โ€œskinโ€ and the ears will not sweat. The douche is metal. Cable in thick insulation, not yet twisted into a ball. The microphone is just fine.

I was surprised by the quality for this price.

Pros: Comfortably sit on the head, light, do not press. The earbuds are not hot. In general, they are built for long-term use. Removable microphone. Different cons: When compared with the M40x, the equipment is very poor. Able to produce more powerful bass, but in general, the detail is worse.

An ideal product for any type of consumer.

About landing on the head, it is worth clarifying that at first it presses from above, because the lining is hard, but after a few days the problem disappears and everything becomes wonderful. About the sound - due to the classically honest sound of AT headphones, many may not like the top and middle, which can be easily corrected by third-party software (if desired). And it is highly recommended to have at least a relatively good sound card for these headphones - the sound and microphone willโ€ฆ

  • Pretty honest sound, which I really appreciate in headphones. Extremely comfortable fit on the head, a few hours in the headphones does not cause any discomfort. They sit discreetly on top and are very soft on the ears thanks to fabric ear pads, on the outside they are made of artificial leather, which gives a plus to sound insulation. The microphone is my compliment. Removable, not built into the cable, as in some models.
Cons
  • No replacement ear pads included. Fixed cable, which is a bit short, but this is not really a problem, a trifle. The cable is extremely rigid and with its very rigid character.

Very comfortable headphones, even when worn for a long time, the head does not get tired, the ear pads are attached to the head with a cloth, the ears fit entirely, nothing presses, the head does not sweat. Like they sound. An interesting feature, with the phone, the headphones work only with a connected microphone, if the removable microphone is turned off, the phone does not recognize the headphones, I donโ€™t know what is the reason. I donโ€™t consider it a disadvantage, because took for PC.
