Yes, yellow bird!

Although I only received it this week, this is the first time I've used both daughters' hair to blow it out! I bought this because I remembered my ex stylist used it on my hair years ago! Saw the price and jumped on it! It's not fancy, but it does have four settings from cool to strong, and if you know how to use your hair dryer properly, you'll be fine! Thank you Revane for half the price of Walmart! :). The charm worked on my girls and I only used cool and warm heat! ;) they have a lot of…

Conair Yellowbird lasted 4 months

Had a Conair Yellowbird hair dryer years ago, it was great. This lasted 4 months, then only blew cold air. Yes I know the warranty is 1 year but when I contacted the manufacturer they told me I would have to pay for shipping (both ways) and it would take 4 years. up to 6 weeks. Try telling your daughter that she can't blow dry her hair that long. Bought a new hair dryer for a little less than half what I paid for the yellow bird and received it same day. They are definitely not of the same…

It replaced a Conair I bought in 1971

This hair dryer replaced a Conair I bought in 1971. Serious. I was having a breakdown after he died 2 weeks ago until I found this one. Almost as good. My old one was white with blue switches. He was with me everywhere, even the cord was enough for so much. This one is a bit heavier but works like a perfect replacement for the old one. Wow, that was close! I downgraded my rating to 3 stars, the switch started glowing and burning today. This is a terrible disappointment and a waste of money…

Great hair dryer in Hair Dryers & Accessories

I had two of these (lost the first one and had to replace it after years of reliable use). I still have my second Yellow Bird and use it reliably. My most recent purchase (third) was a gift for my 14 year old niece who has very long, thin but thick and curly hair that she has never blow dried or straightened. After a short tutoring by her aunt, she managed quite well on her own. She loves it! The dryer itself is very easy to use and the drawing nozzle is just wonderful - no more tangling - and…

Extremely disgruntled former customer

Very disappointed in my Yellow Bird, my favorite hair dryer and I was so happy to see it at Revain as Sally has stopped selling it. The last one I had was literally 5 years old. I haven't had this for even 3 months though and while my daughter was blow drying her hair she heard a pop and one of the screws snapped, apparently the plastic had overheated or something. It's too dangerous to use now and if I had known it wouldn't even last 6 months I would have gotten extended repair coverage.

BEST hair dryer good for hair dryer

I had this model many years ago. This was the BEST dryer I have ever owned. Unfortunately, the comb then melted in the dryer. I still used it. Finally died after about 5 years of use. I've been looking for him everywhere and below, and here he is! It works very well. I'm African American so heat and a comb are essential to dry my hair. This is perfection! If I could give 10 stars I would!

  • Feels good

Poor quality good for hair dryer and accessories

I've had one of these for over a decade and when it stopped working I was happy to buy another. Not the same quality and strength. Began to break after a few uses. A month later it is completely useless. Don't waste money. I need a better brand as they don't build well anymore

Pros
  • Normal price
Cons
  • Communication with seller

Poor quality - do not buy!

I would not recommend this dryer. This one didn't even make it a full 4 months! I'm so angry I got this on 12/21/18 and here is 6/4/19 and it's not working. I used to have a Yellow Bird dryer BEFORE my kids were born, they are 11 and 13 years old. Unfortunately I had to replace it because we dropped it so many times that cracks appeared and we were worried about safety but never did. stop working. Well, this dryer is just poorly made, even though it should be the same brand. The first…

Super Hair Dryer - Hair Dryers and Accessories

I have very coarse, very thick natural hair and this is the only hair dryer that makes my hair super dry, super fast and super straight. For some people, the heat can be too hot and cause hair loss, but if your hair is thick and can handle heat, then this hair dryer is for you. The comb that comes with the dryer is strong. Haven't lost a single pick yet, but I would recommend an extra comb with your order. I can definitely recommend this hair dryer.
