simply connected, it was the cheapest thing I saw and it worked. My only complaint is that the screw holes don't line up with the blower body, which meant I had to drive a screw into the blower body to attach it. While it works it still gives an error code.

Does not fit even though the product description says it does. I have a 2006 Silverado. The holes don't line up so you can't install it unless you bolt on other parts of the car. Description needs to be changed as Amazon said it fits my car. waste of money.

When I pulled out the old one to replace it, I definitely understood why it needed replacing! This one looked identical in terms of connections, resistance, etc., but while it was perfectly aligned on the right side, the left (driver's side) was out of order. I just used another screw and made my own hole in the plastic and all is good and the gaskets are fine. Most importantly, it works perfectly! 4 times cheaper than in the parts trade.

Air conditioner/heater fan didn't work in positions 1 and 2. I figured I'd have to tear down the dash and replace the switch to fix this and I did not me. I found out that the fan speed is actually controlled by this module. The module is located above the passenger footwell and the replacement took about 15 minutes. Now my fan has all 5 speeds. Search YouTube how to replace it.

Installing this old one was easy and straight forward with the added length of two connectors. This product fitted my 2002 Silverado 5.3 perfectly. However, the base is upside down like a mirror back. The product is still suitable due to the large connection cable, but this makes installation unnecessarily difficult. If you want to save a few bucks works great, two weeks at 11F and works great, change your cabin air filter while you're there!
