I used a socket wrench to install and it snapped in half with little to no effort. 5 out of 10 with cracks and air loss. Don't bother with the other 5 thrown out of them and order more. Go with brass gold

Note that the thread length of these assemblies is approximately 1/4 inch and in a typical tapered NPT thread application will bottom out before they can fully seal. I'm sure there are uses for them, just not the ones I needed them for in my air spring valves or sensors.

I first discovered that the threads in each inner liner were the wrong loose fit. We all know that Teflon tape isn't a filler, it's a lubricant for tapered threads. We learned from Loctite that threadlocker is a filler needed for these threads. I used the blue nozzle on my strands and let them set and firmly pressed the bottomless armature. NO LEAK!
