Often non-genuine parts are not well made. I was impressed. The leather/vinyl is thick, double stitched and glued in place. Only complaint, some people may not know how to reset the two spring metal part, they need to attach instructions for those of us who need instructions, other than that, I am very happy with the product and the service.

I am very picky when it comes to buying parts. I was very impressed with this cover/console cover. The color is exactly the same, the quality is really excellent and is in no way inferior to the original. Don't think twice, just order this one, you won't be disappointed. I installed it myself in less than 15 minutes. All you need is a flathead screwdriver and something to push the pin through. I've attached a picture of my original lid which was broken and a new one for comparison.

Wow! I drove with a worn center console for almost a year after my truck was hacked (03 Silverado). didn't know how easy it was to replace them. I ordered this for a 1999 Chevy Silverado in beige. It arrived on time and seemed of high quality. Unfortunately I had to return it because the color wasn't right. The '99 Silverado was more of a camel color and this beige didn't match at all. The seller was accommodating in not understanding the return policy and I will be returning the item this week. I would order it without hesitation because it looks very solid and the installation seemed self-explanatory to me.

The main disadvantage of this cover is the color. The interior of my truck (a 2002 Chevy Silverado) is painted a shade of brown, but while it matched the listing picture, this cover had too much of a "pink" shade to be considered a mismatch. I really don't understand how many people want you to think this is a complicated setup. I'm a very mechanical person. But come on guys, it took me about 2 minutes to install. Compare the original cover to this one - 4 stars because of my only complaint the vinyl cloth is just glued to the plastic under the cover, not welded like the OEM so I reckon over time / using it will weaken .
