Absolutely NOT worth it!. I got these containers specifically for freezing food so I don't have to cook every week. The largest of all containers broke on the third use. I have used snapware jar which works better, got this set the size of the largest freezer jar and am very disappointed with the purchase. Now I don't use the other 2 containers in the freezer anymore.

I love these dishes. I wish I could have found a little more but they are wonderful. I plan to buy most sizes available! I've read the reviews and think those who have trouble using lids are just trying to get it wrong. If you don't put them on properly they won't close, just align them properly and they'll keep working. That was my only concern and it is a moot point! LOVE LOVE LOVE THESE THINGS!

I only gave three stars for ease of use because the lids were a bit difficult to close. I have a bit of arthritis in my fingers and I had a hard time closing my eyelids. In addition, the seal on the large container was cut on one side. The containers are made of durable glass, which is good. After I was contacted by customer service about a damaged seal, the issue was resolved to my satisfaction. I have changed my rating to 5 stars.

These lids are also not microwave safe. Glass is heavy and durable. They're easy to clean and don't feel too hot after I've warmed them up in the microwave. This is a great addition to my growing kitchen glassware collection. By the end of this year, I aim to have my house almost permanently free of plastic containers.

I bought a set of glass jars from this seller last year which we liked as the quality of the glass jars and especially the lids were excellent. In most cases either the lids or the plastic lids wear out or break, but my previous set is still intact, no problems with the lids. This is a great product! I've bought other glass jars with similar lids and can tell you they seal better. The valves don't feel cheap (which they usually do).
