Contigo 2149785 Water Bottle Juniper Review

Bought 2 bottles and both leak when turned upside down. I could see they look nice and strong but it really doesn't matter if they leak.

I like the locking button that secures the drinking nozzle. Doesn't leak. I put pieces of fruit in it, fill it up with water and put it in the fridge overnight. Take it and go. Fits in my Jeep's cup holder.

I really like their size - they are easy to hold and fit nicely in almost any cup holder or bottle in the car. However, the retractable spout mechanism in one of them broke within the first 10 uses. Pretty disappointing.

I usually love Contigo products and own several of their products but these water bottles are the worst. They seem to create pressure so when you open the spout with the button it sprays all over the place. I wish I could return them, I would give zero stars if I could.

Best water bottle. Sealed and holds up well in use. I like that the sipper leans away from the outside elements. This bottled beverage mechanism can be difficult to clean. I have to use cotton swabs and straw cleaners to avoid water black mold that can develop with prolonged use. Also, I have these bottles for all my family members to save on bottled water. I use them at work, at the gym, hiking, biking, day trips - they work great every time. Highly recommended.

I bought these water bottles for my daughters to use at school. I like that they hold water well BUT unfortunately they leak. If the bottle is upright, it will not leak. When placed upside down or on its side, it drips continuously. I tried pushing the straw in as far as possible and it made no difference. So if you plan on keeping your water bottle upright, this is a great option. If you plan to send them to school with your child, you will end up with a wet backpack and a folder of homework.

Gave 3 stars but more like 1-2. Pros The bottle is well built, doesn't leak and looks well constructed. Has a lock and is a good size. Cons: The straw is beveled to get every drop, but the straw is too short see the picture so you don't miss a bunch. The soft top of the straw is open so you can spill. So when you open the bottle, the liquid in the straw will squirt out. If it's a colored liquid, be prepared for stains. Enjoy getting wet or braking a bouncy open straw. All in all, although it…
