Description of 🌞 Intelligent 30A Solar Charge Controller for 12V/24V Solar Panels with Dual USB Ports, LCD Display, Timer Setting, and Adjustable Parameters for ON/Off Hours

☀☀☀30A Solar Charge controller : Binen solar charger controller are UL 1741 certified, the solar charger controller compatibility with 12V 24V system. Discharge Current: 10A,build-in industrial micro controller, automatically manage the working of solar panel and battery in solar system. Dual USB output 5V, to support mobile phone charging. ☀☀☀Multiple Protection Functions: Binen solar controller has short-circuit protection, open-circuit protection, reverse protection, over-load protection. Fully 3-stage PWM charge management, improve system efficiency and prolong the life span of the battery. For protecting the lifespan of your battery, once the voltage of the battery drop below 8V, the solar controller will turn off automatically. ☀☀☀Battery Type: The charge regulator is only suitable for lead-acid batteries: OPEN, AGM, GEL, it is not suited for nickel hydride, lithium, Liions, or other batteries. For protecting the lifespan of your battery, once the voltage of the battery drop below 8V, the solar controller will turn off automatically. ☀☀☀LCD Display: Comes with a display that can clearly indicate the status and data, it can be conveniently switched modes and parameter configuration, suitable for home, industrial, commercial etc. ☀☀☀Easy to Install and Operate: The charge controller should connect the battery first, then the solar panel, and finally the load! The disassembly sequence is contrary to the wiring order.Dual mosfet Reverse current protection, low heat production. ( Note: The charge controller will heat up when it is running. Please be careful to install the charger controller on a flat, well-ventilated place).

Best customer service

I installed it with a Renogy solar panel. Works perfectly. Keep my balance bike battery charged and protected at all times. It was very easy to install. Excellent quality. After 7 months I had a problem with the battery, but the support team fixed the problem quickly.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Empty

Works great for monitoring my system but not sure how to use the functions

This works to charge the battery and power my circuit but I can't figure out how to set the voltage or use the timer. My solar panel puts out about 15 volts and the 12 volt battery is charging. It doesn't seem to be a problem, but I would like to limit the maximum charge

Pros
  • handy thing

Convenient, easy-to-use charge controller.

Very easy to set up and use with solar panel, battery and 12V connection (if required). I have a 100w Renogy panel with a 33ah battery which is then connected to a simple 300w inverter. Please read the included user manual to set the high and low battery power settings and battery type.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Expandable

Spend more for a better controller.

None of the buttons worked to adjust the tension, float etc. always pushed 15+ volts until the sun went down and of course it blew my battery a week before my new charger arrived. I have an Outback Flexmax on my boat with a 48v 300ah lithium battery and it was the smaller 12v system that I used for 20 years before switching to this one. So I threw it in the trash and got a Renology and a new battery. dear mistake

Do not buy! suitable for solar and wind power

Minus 3 stars because the "adjustable" charging voltages and load shedding voltages are not regulated intelligently. For example, the load disconnect voltage range, designed to protect the battery from deep discharge, is adjustable from 9V to 11.5V. 11.5 volts on a flooded lead-acid battery is 100% discharged, meaning damage has already occurred. This is worse with AGM and Gel batteries, which have a higher operating voltage. It confuses me, why would a manufacturer artificially limit the…

Instructions missing details

I think this product charged my batteries in my RV but I could never tell how fast. The photo shows that it shows amps but I could never find a way to change the display to that option (all I saw was volts on one screen and a screen flashing rapidly between two different volt readings at another time - another user reported that he only saw amps). I was traveling and was unable to contact tech support due to short cellular coverage. I strongly recommend companies to expand their manual beyond…

Works best in generators and portable power supplies

This charge controller works much better than my old one. I have 3 panels in my RV but the solar never kept my batteries alive. We spent a lot of time in the camper and the batteries were always charged so it should work. I used to have problems with my old charge controller where my batteries would burn out during storage due to being charged by both. Panels and connected power supply. I installed a disconnect plug on one of the solar cables so I can turn off the solar array during long term…

Will the battery fry if you have a 100-200w panel or more

I looked through 3 cheap charge controllers and spent 2 months on them. I'm writing this review because I wish someone had told me about it sooner. I finally settled on a 'real' MPPT controller (model Epever Tracer) which I found on eBay for $62 (usually $80). parallel. The problem is that all cheap all-solar voltage regulators in my setup produce charging voltages of 15.6V or more. The "bulk charge voltage" of lead-acid batteries must be limited to 14.2-14.4 V, and only in the presence of…
