Ice Cream Scoop Disappointment

The swing arm held a load of cookies before buckling and straying. The little spoon is actually not that small. Big is a giant. Rusted after one wash. upset.

Medium spoon broke after first use

Baked cookies and used medium spoon to make even sized portions of dough. The first time you use the shovel, the metal bends at the bottom where the pivot mechanism engages and moves the lever in the shovel. Couldn't fix it. I really only needed a medium size (small to small, large to large) so I'm without again. I would advise you to pay a little more and get better quality.

A little torn. at Specialty Tools & Gadgets

I broke a little because the shovels I used did the job but the mechanisms that move when the handles are pressed didn't move smoothly - I kept waiting for it to break while baking. I wasn't a fan of the hollow inside handles either; Cookie dough always stuck there. They're not bad for the price and I love that they come in three different sizes. I just wish they didn't feel so wobbly when in use.

Easy to break, difficult to fix

Very cheap product. Each shovel got stuck, the hinges slipped every time, and I had to reattach the inner blade of the shovel for each shovel. I tried to get it working until the crank gears slipped. Tried to fix 3 times until finally giving up after it kept breaking with every shovel. I have never seen such a terrible product. I returned to a shovel I had similar to this one, no problem. Couldn't believe the difference. I ordered this set to get different spoon sizes. Send this set back…

Absolutely terrible!

These literally come with instructions on how to put them back together if they fall apart. It was difficult to scoop up the chilled cookie dough because it was weak. When I first used it, the "scraper" part popped right out instead of scraping the batter off the spoon. After I somehow reassembled it, the scraper was never properly leveled, so it stuck out when not in use and never went all the way through the scoop to take out the batter. I've tried repeatedly to adjust the toe. (Actually, I'm
