I was attracted to the MA620M LED lighting.

but was initially skeptical that this thing could cool a 3950x with 16 cores. Admittedly, I only bought this because I wanted air cooling and Be Quiet! Dark Rock Pro 4 and Noctua NH-D15 Chromax Black were reserved when I was ready to order. So far temperatures seem very reasonable, 30s with no load, 40-60s with medium load, although I have yet to let them run. Benchmarks to push Ryzen really hard and generate extra heat. Pros: - Works well on AMD 3950x so far (Note: I'm using a full size…

It looks nice, but the fans are noisy even at low speeds.

I've been using the Nactua D15 (fan on) for a while. I liked the look of this new Cooler Master MA624 CPU cooler. I connected it to the fans that connect to the cooler and then connected the fans to my motherboard's fan header. This way I could check the fan noise and speed without mounting it. At the lowest speed (approx. 800-850 rpm) I heard a kind of rattling on both fans. After removing the front fan, I found that the noise was coming from the center of the engine. Then I ran them at high…

Pros
  • Mini-RGB Addressable LED Controller: The included mini-ARGB controller provides versatility for your favorite color arrays.
Cons
  • Good but not great

Fantastic - meets all my needs

I suspect like most people considering the MA620M I've used a Wraith Prism to cool my Ryzen and while it's a great stock cooler it's definitely not the best air cooling solution. And pretty loud. As someone who prefers to use air, I started looking for better alternatives and this one showcased many of the options I had. I needed a quiet, powerful antenna solution that looked good, or at least didn't look bad. That's exactly what this cooler is. In terms of looks, I personally think this is the

Pros
  • Stealth Black Hardware: All black hardware provides a premium, darkened look.
Cons
  • Unbelievable price
