Great quality and style but size XL was too small for my (little) 12 year old. I wish it was a size up or adjustable. Comfortable and durable: Made from high-quality materials, this sun hat is both comfortable and built to last. I'm a big fan of the quality of the Kulibar items and the 5th hat is certainly up to standard. I wish the hat was better ventilated. My son loves the hat but still loves the camouflage and style. On the hottest, sunniest days, we take off our hats and prefer to stay indoors. For moderately sunny days, this hat is great.

The brim is somewhat flexible. Better something that keeps its shape better. Works little. I wish there were more stylish sun hats for kids. Not a big fan of camouflage.

It was a birthday present. One of the straps broke when he put the hat on for the first time, right after opening the gift. I was so ashamed!

I bought it for my 10 year old son. He liked it very much. It looks really cool, the brim is nice and wide for sun protection, and the headband was comfortable and not itchy. Unfortunately it was too small for his head and we ended up having to send it back. It has a large head and easily fits into small men's hats. I'm considering reordering it in a small men's size. I just wish the price didn't go up so much when going from child to adult sizes.

This size should have fit my son judging from the size chart but it was too small for him. The hat is good quality and I liked the thickness of the brim. However, there didn't seem to be good ventilation, which would have been a big problem on those hot summer days. I thought about keeping the hat for my son to wear in spring and fall as he needs outerwear for medical reasons but decided to return it as it didn't have room to grow. A good quality hat if the size is right for your child.

As mentioned in other reviews, the product is a bit small. I would recommend going a half or one size up for an accurate fit when ordering. The product appears to be a good hat but I'm not a fan of velcro on the chin/neck strap although for a child it's probably a good idea.
