Good brush, hard to come by. Available.

Excellent brush. Works well with COPIC markers as it is smudge and smudge resistant. It's a little harder to come by as they're often out of stock or not made by Revain, but Pentel has a great alternative that also has refillable ink: the Pentel Arts Pocket. Brush pen, including 2 refills with black ink (GFKP3BPA). The lack of refillability isn't a downside, because by the time you're dry your brush may already be too worn out to matter. So something to consider.

I only wish they were reusable

I've tried about 2 dozen different brush pens over the past year and have currently settled on 3 that I use regularly. Pentel Pocket Brush, Kuretake Sumi and Copic Gasenfude. They all behave differently, so it really depends on what you're using them for. Only criticism is that they are not refillable. Its lines are less dynamic than a pen, less suitable for inking large areas, but offer much better precise control. The ink is excellent and does not spread when washed off with a marker; I used…

I've heard so many good things about this pen

You know. I've heard so many good things about this pen that I couldn't wait to get my hands on it. I've had it for about a month and I can't take it. I've had several different types of brush pens that I really like, but the bristles on this one don't fit into a well knitted tip. It could be a defect in the handle which I have, am not sure. my other problem No matter how long you let the ink dry, you can't put markers or water on it to keep it from bleeding. If you scan your art into a…

This brush pen is damn good!

This brush pen is damn good. Draws a very thin line when I need it and spreads out nicely for thicker lines. In my general drawing, this gives character to lines with a slight line spread. Exactly what I expect from a brush pen. I can buy a Copic set so I wanted to start with this pen for comparison. My other favorite is the Pentel Pocket Brush Pen, which comes with a spare refill. This Kopic is very similar. I've used a few other brush pens. I started with a Prismacolor premium brush tip…

Great waterproof pen with a wide range of line widths

I've had this pen for about a year now and use it for about half of my paintings and illustrations. Remember this is a disposable pen. When it runs out, you need to buy a brand new pen. However, despite frequent use, the pen is still durable so it definitely holds a lot of ink, and the brush is sturdy too. I still think it's pretty good. The range of line widths you can achieve with a nylon brush tip (which I prefer to felt tips) is just amazing! This is a great pen for thick lines and fine…
