Works great for what it is intended to do.

Works great for what it is intended to do. But with such a small width, the ‘spool’ is very awkward to use while keeping the tape spooled. I used this for extending the sink wire on shielded Cat5e connectors and so needed less than 1/2 inch per connector. In such short lengths and with no adhesion between layers, this is simply difficult to work with. Note to manufacturer: consider a VERY mild, non-residue adhesive on the insulating paper as this will improve handling and remove the need for…

Pros
  • útil para hacer trabajos estudiantiles y pequeños proyectos dirigidos a las instalaciones eléctricas
Cons
  • Cost is higher compared to other conductive tapes

Used with 4th grade students

I used this with 4th grade students to create paper circuits. I really liked this tape, vs a competitors tapes. The only reason that I did not give it 5 starts, is because sometimes the tape would get stuck the backing and tear. However, the width of the tape was really easy for young hands to handle. Will reorder for future projects

Pros
  • Great for holding things down when creating iron arms for T shirts bags and other items.
Cons
  • Copper foil may be too thin for some applications

I have used this tape in a few college classes to teach simple paper circuit critical making. Copper is always a beautiful addition to a paper project. It's a little tricky to work with; it tends to bend and kink, and sometimes the glue can cause conductivity to glitch. For the intro classroom, though, it works well enough when combined with some Chibilight LEDs and batteries (I'd recommend buying them all separately; it works out substantially cheaper than springing for a full Chibi kit per…

Pros
  • It worked well for what I needed. There was a lot extra for mistakes.
Cons
  • Not as heavy as some.....curls up too much when working with it

Highly recommended good for me

My middle school science and STEM students were able to successfully use this copper tape. This product made student created circuits much easier and increased the success rate of the circuits from all levels of students.

Pros
  • Like them all , will be back I'm sure.
Cons
  • May cause interference with wireless signals

Copper foil works: my feedback

Copper foil was used at school to make cards that light up. It worked well and was easy to use. The rolls are hard to keep rolled up but I don’t know how to prevent that unless the rolls came in a separate box.

Pros
  • Bought it for a science project. Work as expected.
Cons
  • Not suitable for outdoor use

Great stuff good for me

Good value. Originally I bought this for adding low-voltage electric pathways in wood projects, such as adding battery compartments and motors or LEDs to wood toys. It is so thin that once it is covered with a veneer it is undetectable. The first foot of this went to a friend for repairing a corroded battery contact in a camera.

Pros
  • Great for crafting, electronics
Cons
  • May require extra adhesive for some applications

Not effective for snails; great for art

Purchased copper tape to deter snails on garden pots. Did not work at all. Will be great for an art project though! Thanks for attention.

Pros
  • Thank you
Cons
  • It works for stained glass, but is much thinner foil than I'm used to working with.

Must have for teaching electricity!

This is perfect for science class and teaching opened/closed circuits. I pair this product with chibitronics. Definitely worth it!

Pros
  • easy to use, great adhesion and conductivity.
Cons
  • May not effectively shield against static electricity

Not recomended for my opinion

Not a good option for electro greeting card. The adhesive is not conductive, and very hard to make two tape tracks to conduct. As other buys mentioned, it is very hard to keep the tape roll in shape.

Pros
  • I used these for "old school" windows for an alarm system where switches wouldn't work.
Cons
  • The description mentions a 4-pack, but I received only a 2-pack copper foil tape.

Not Pleased.: my feedback

This is not what the picture looks like. The foil rolls were stuck together. The green stay came out of one and I have a complete mess. I am not happy with the way this item was presented.

Pros
  • Worked great.
Cons
  • May require multiple layers to effectively shield against EMI

Very nice! best in my review

This is a really generous amount of the foil for the price. It's great for stained glass or other glass art projects: very durable and with good adhesive. I would buy it again if I need it!

Pros
  • Works great on stained glass. Happy with the product and price! :)
Cons
  • May not be available in larger widths

Works great - saves money

Worked great for making a light up card and it's a much less expensive alternative to the card light kits. Description says, “conductive”. This is not conductive..

Pros
  • Feel satisfied with the thick tape rolls.
Cons
  • Description says, "conductive". This is not conductive.

Better than melon rinds

Definitely works! Incident #1- I went in the house to grab something and came right back to the planters on the railing of my front porch. I saw a slug hanging from it's slime about to drop into my lower potter. It had touched the copper (I assume), and fell. Incident #2- I moved my potters back onto the porch after the rainstorm. A slug had climbed my big rounder with me onions. Well, I stood and watched as buddy boy slid all the way up and seemed to sense the copper was there. It moved down a

Pros
  • Used to make circuits. Difficult to peel initially, but great product
Cons
  • May not be suitable for use in humid environments

The adhesive good for me

This foil actually works very well The adhesive sticks very well even to Smooth wood Without any paint or varnish on the wood I've tried other ones that need contact cement to hold it on

Pros
  • I use it to trim the finish on loudspeakers. Easy to work with and looks good.
Cons
  • May become brittle over time

It's copper tape, it works, but the core.

The copper tape is fine. The problem is it unravels because the center core is not attached to anything so you'll have a spaghetti mess of copper tape to deal with.

Pros
  • Easy to use and very good quality!
Cons
  • May not be suitable for use with some types of wiring
