Patented and proprietary nano copper additive releases highly active copper ions. Copper3D Cuprionix additive tested against HCoV-229E by the Pasteur Institute with excellent results. Cuprionix is the active ingredient in PLACTIVE AN1. Copper oxide infused properties also confirmed by two microbiology laboratories in Chile and USA. Clinically tested in prosthesis for amputees with excellent results. PLACTIVE is currently being tested by NASA to evaluate its impact on interplanetary microbial contamination. PLACTIVE(tm) is a FDA Registered Material and EU compliant (No. 10/2011, No. 1935/2004 and No. 2023/2006). The manufacturer also has ISO 9001/2015 certification and is REACH compliant.

Expensive, but good material for experiments. It is also approved by the EU and FDA.

Copper PLA works great. I had no problems with extrusion or layering. I ordered this to order 3R printing of COVID masks for my friends and family. Due to its material properties, copper has an antimicrobial effect.

I was lucky enough to get a roll of it.

I received one of the latest Plactive coils available for sale to civilians or outside of hospitals. lucky. I used all of this to make three face shield frames using a hole punch. I have NO problems with printing. And I've had MANY nurses and techs thank you and more I'll never hear from. Thank you for letting me order it back at the end of March. My dad and I printed a whole bunch of sign frames. I hope to work with Medflex soft rubber soon.

Expensive but great quality. Hope it's antimicrobial!

Not the cheapest material but great prints and I like the color. I used to print kitchen sinks and bathroom accessories. I wish there was more supporting data showing the effectiveness of this thread's antimicrobial elements as I have no way of proving this myself. It prints like any standard PLA, the same pace worked for me. Arrived well packaged and dry. I wish it was cheaper and more affordable, I'd probably print more with this material.
