DON'T KNIT SMART! good for me

The description says it's a Smartknit, but then it says it's sold by Therafirm. They aren't as soft as the socks we bought from the real smartknit company and they aren't seamless. This is very important if you are buying them to wear all day with orthotics. The socks are long enough to be worn over braces and the patterns/colors are nice but not at the expense of the comfort they are meant to have.

Pros
  • The sock pairs well with thicker socks, just what we need for grandkids leg braces.
Cons
  • There were only 3 socks, not 3 pairs of socks. Not worth the money.

Great socks - my new review

Good quality. Thicker than other AFO socks we have used before. A sweet dash of color in stripes. Holds up well when washed. Definitely planning to buy again.

Pros
  • SmartKnit® Halos 3 Pack - White/Grey/Black - Kid's Normal Core-Spun Patterned AFO Kids Socks come in a 3-pack with different patterns making them stylish and perfect for everyday wear. Suitable for both boys and girls, they come in a variety of sizes to ensure the perfect fit.
Cons
  • Required Maintenance

Good product - true to size

Well fitting and nice product compared to just one color (white or pink which my daughter has been using with her AFOs for years. The sizing chart is as expected and the quality of the sock is good

Pros
  • Comfortable
Cons
  • Limited color options

Just one of each sock!

Like the other customer, I was shocked when I opened the package and found only one sock of each design. My grandson has two legs. This has happened twice before, so the company needs to improve quality control. I called customer service on the number on the box and they assured me that if I order another set this would never happen again. So, I'll try again. I'm really shocked that three tiny pairs of shocks should cost $42.25 but willing to pay for my grandson who has special needs. Hopefully

Pros
  • SMOOTH SHV - recommended by doctors and orthopedists for AFO users.
Cons
  • Crumpled

Not seamless! The inseam on the fingers is of great importance.

I bought these for my son to wear under his AFO. We have other SmartKnit socks and they work very well. I was disappointed that these socks are not truly seamless. The stitching on the fingers leaves a deep dent even though we don't pull it tightly around the fingers. And while I was looking forward to the colors and stripes, I didn't think about the inner strands of the stripes. They're minimal, but enough to leave a mark on the calf.

Pros
  • 100% MADE IN THE USA. Every pair of orthopedic socks is made in the USA. Can be washed in a washing machine. Unique core yarn creates a comfortable, form-fitting design.
Cons
  • I will add later
