Small but practical

I blame myself for not checking the size before buying. So the plate is small but sufficient to serve pasta, vegetables or even a medium roast for five or six people. This really depends on the number of guests and also whether it is for lunch or a gourmet dinner. I was expecting to use this for Thanksgiving so I'm trying to figure out how to get it working for a larger gathering. Definitely NOT big enough for the turkey we're roasting, but I think it might work for our ham. Again, I do NOT…

Great serving platter

Okay, I might be biased, but I love Corelle. However, I have children, so glassware is a daunting experience. For me, however, Corelle combines the best of both worlds. I can make Corelle and NOCH feel safe when my kids use them, wash them. The reality is my kids drop them regularly (usually trying not to wash them!). I don't have much storage space either and the fact that they are so light and take up so little space is amazing. I can fit all of my plates, cups and serving utensils in a…

Very good Corelle platter!

Last November, just before Thanksgiving, I bought 2 of these 12 1/4" Corelle serving platters. I planned to use the first course to serve chicken (I know, I know, tradition is Turkey but usually only 4 people, or at most 6 people at our Thanksgiving dinner - and 3 out of 6 vegetarians and due to 3 remaining omnivores 1 doesn't like turkey, not worth buying even the smallest turkey for just 2 people, instead, I just roast a whole chicken) and I planned to use the 2nd course to serve the…
