Bought for a 2012 Macbook Pro with 4GB RAM (2x2GB), removed 1 and added this 8GB, now works with 10GB! So far, so good! hope this continues! Increase speed? Can't say for sure, but the computer runs smoother than before, that's for sure. And there is no compressed RAM in the "Memory" tab in Activity Monitor.

Good cheap DRAM that works. for some stickers and heatsinks on desktops. Nothing to complain about here, just go for it if it's the cheapest you can find barring the occasional Chinese fake.

The product was preformed as listed and there were no problems after installation. Increased my laptop's performance and speed.

I tested the module on 3 different computers (a netbook and 2 DDR3 compatible laptops) and it didn't boot on ONE of them! The module is bricked up. I am so disappointed! I took the trouble to film the video I am attaching to this review. I need a refund, I need to buy a new module to upgrade my laptop for work.

I added this to my Synology DS218. I don't think it's specifically supported, but it was easy to install, found it complete and accurate, and really added zest, especially if you're doing Plex or whatever.

Fits and works perfectly. Doubled the RAM on my wife's old laptop and really helped wake it up. I also managed to grab a 4GB flash drive from a laptop and put it in my desktop as it was also a Sedima so it worked fine.

I ordered this to see if it would speed up my laptop (Acer Aspire E15 series) and it certainly helped make things better . It is nice that only one module was required instead of two, because this made the memory upgrade significantly cheaper. I have used Corsair products for many years and have always found them to be of high quality and very reliable.

I bought this for my HP All-in-One G10. Replaced HD with SSD. I noticed a delay in typing after the update. So I added 8 gigs to my 4 gigs. No more lag.
