Now my system works fine so until I started another machine

When I first installed this (I mean the second) Windows recognized all 16GB but only 7.9 was usable . I also got the first blue screen of death in years. After a bit of fiddling with the BIOS, I got all 16GB. I don't know what I did but now it works! No blue screens, no crashes. Before I got the second one, my AMD FX 6300 ran at 4GHz and this one at 2000MHz. Ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo…

The right option to increase my RAM

2 Corsair CMZ8GX3M1A1600C10 Vengeance 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR3 1600MHz (PC3 12800) 1.5V Desktop memory was a good deal for anyone who had their Wanted to expand memory for games. I installed both in my Alienware Area-51 R2 two months ago and they worked great on my modified system. Note that the plastic case with the Corsair logo can get in the way in a case as small as mine. I don't have an optical drive installed so that wasn't a problem for me.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Quality

This is the best upgrade I have. I originally had 1 Vengeance 8GB stick (black in a CMZ8GX3M1A1600C10 slot) and 2 Adata (2 x 4GB) and 1 Kingston (1 x 8) filling my slots only to get 24GB. And overclocking didn't bother me as before, all I needed was more memory. I'm aware that it's also not recommended to mix and match memory cards unless you know what you're doing (I'm an IT guy), but I'm aware that these (specific ones) work fine , since I've been playing around with different sticks. So I've

Stable, no problems with internals

It works well with the 16GB Kingston memories that were already on my PC, although they were different brands (I chose this module because the timings were very tight and the price was lower). 8 hours of memtest86 showed no problems. I don't see a huge performance difference going from 16GB to 24GB with normal use, but swapping is less severe for memory-intensive applications.

Pros
  • A dream come true
Cons
  • Updates

Just what my guest PC needed. The 4GB (what the heck?!) of RAM that a minimal gaming rig had was insufficient to run anything other than Chrome (laughs), plus it was the bottleneck for the AMD FX6530 + GTX 970 combo. Simple Installation. Remove old RAM, install new RAM! Check your BIOS settings. Make sure you don't just upgrade the existing RAM, as this will cause additional work and problems. Buy kits as needed and change them all at once with the same type of RAM. :DNext minor update…

Pros
  • Brilliantly made
Cons
  • Style 90

Poor price compared to other Corsair offerings

They work as advertised; However, there are better deals if you're looking to upgrade. The Vengeance Pro series costs an extra dollar or two. The big disadvantage of these RAM sticks is the clock speed of 1600 MHz. I'm not sure why anyone would want to buy them when 2400mhz sticks aren't even ten bucks more. I encourage you to research all of your options before you buy them. Corsair is by far the only brand I would recommend for storage components, but they have better offerings and product…

Pros
  • So far so good
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

Great memory upgrade

I needed this for my streaming PC and to be able to play WoW while streaming. I have two total, but will be buying two more in the future (one to replace the factory 8GB memory on my PC and the other to fill the last memory slot). It definitely helps my overall productivity while streaming until I can build a gaming PC. Then my current one will only be a streaming PC. All in all, I would definitely recommend this item.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Fade

This desktop memory meets the highest demands. It is used with the Core i7 4770 processor and the Z87 motherboard. For added security and protection I've added a Kingston fan which is sold for HyperX PC Memory KHX-FAN but fits and works great with these chips. To update. I'm a little late to post this, but I felt better late than never. I started with 8GB of RAM, went up to 16GB after a couple of weeks, and eventually added another 16GB after a couple of months. I use my system to edit and…
