Description of 💧 Corsair Hydro X Series XD5 RGB Pump/Reservoir Combo - D5 PWM Pump - 330ml Reservoir - Individual RGB LEDs - Integrated Temperature Sensor - Black

A high-performance Xylem D5 PWM pump controlled via PWM to deliver the perfect flow balance for your loop. Ten individually addressable top-mounted RGB LEDs light up your reservoir with stunning customizable RGB lighting. Add a CORSAIR iCUE Controller (sold separately) and powerful CORSAIR iCUE software to customize and sync RGB lighting across all your iCUE-compatible products including water blocks, fans, keyboard, and more. The integrated 330ml reservoir with an anti-vortex insert puts your custom cooling system’s coolant on display, with stunning angular design and an integrated fillport that makes filling, flushing, and topping-off coolant easy. Included temperature sensor provides real-time coolant temperatures from inside your cooling loop when connected to a CORSAIR iCUE COMMANDER PRO or COMMANDER CORE (sold separately). Rubberized mounting system reduces pump vibrations and noise, so your custom cooling loop is seen, not heard.

Average Corsair product.

Average product from Corsair Very cheap plastic feel, very easy to damage G1/4 threads. The included connectors felt very cheap and ugly, the RGB isn't that outstanding. The effects are just average and personally I would have expected a better RGB frlm from Corsair. Cable routing is a nightmare as the RGB is at the top of the pump so you have 2 wires at the bottom (a 4 pin Molex, a PWM, a temp sensor) and 2 more wires at the top (a male and a female RGB). ). definitely needs an overhaul…

Pros
  • Manufactured by
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

I am trying to make a custom hinge for my NZXT H210. Found this while looking for a pump block and processor unit combo and thought it was better than nothing as I couldn't find the Alphacool product I was looking for. XD3 seems to be well put together for the most part. Not as compact as I was hoping, but smaller than some other pump/resistor combos I've used in the past. I wish the input/output ports were metal. I always feel like tearing plastic threads. Besides needing commander pro for rgb

Larger than stated MUST BE VERTICAL

[Item Purchased: Corsair XD5 RGB Gen2 Combo Pump/Reservoir - White] Corsair does not provide any sizing information, including in the manual. This unit was a bit larger than I thought, I didn't use a caliper, but the dimensions given by Revain (for shipping?): 7.40 x 3.27 x 3.27 inches are within range of my iPhone according to my measurement app of 0.25 inches. Please note that the bottom mount can add additional height (up to 7.4 inches) - you can download the PDF manual from the Corsair…

Everything I needed

Here is my review of the Corsair XD5:1 pump. Value) The combination Pump/Sharp xd5 is quite expensive. Of course xd5 is not the most powerful pump ever made as it loses l/h to xspc photon and EK-XTOP D5. But it works. It's like a 1.8 liter Corolla S, you don't need a Lambo D5 because the XD5 takes you where you want to go and it has rgb!2. Noise) The XD5 is pretty quiet. Not much to say here.3. Installation) For those interested in my case, this is a Corsair Crystal 570x with a non-standard…

Combination pump/reservoir

The pump works very well and the tank light looks good. Conveniently includes everything you need to mount your tank and allows for a variety of mounting options including heatsink, fan, direct to case, etc. It also includes a clip to run the pump without powering the rest of the PC , which allows for a useful initial contour fill. They may include an extra connector or two, otherwise they'll assume you're using a temperature sensor to populate one of the connectors (I'm sure most people will…

decent pump for the price EDITED

the pump is very quiet. One thing I noticed in Corsair ads is that they say to adjust the pump speed in your games. I am not suggesting anyone do this. I've been into water cooling for many years and the only thing pump speed does is the pump wears out quicker. I suggest you set the speed as low as possible as long as you have a decent flow. The longer the water stays in the heatsink, the more it cools, but the longer it extracts heat from the CPU/GPU blocks. It works about the same regardless…

Plug required, update after 6 months

I am giving 4 starts at the moment. I still have to put everything together, but in the PC I noticed that there are 7 places you can put fittings or plugs in this thing. Adding 2 fittings for inlet and outlet and 1 more for the included temperature sensor leaves 4 holes open. Only 3 plugs included. Either they expect you to have a drain point or you already have plugs handy. Corsair, if you are reading this I would suggest that you include AT LEAST 4 connectors. I'll update my review later when
