Review on πŸ’§ Corsair Hydro X Series XD5 RGB Pump/Reservoir Combo - D5 PWM Pump - 330ml Reservoir - Individual RGB LEDs - Integrated Temperature Sensor - Black by Chad Jeffries

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Everything I needed

Here is my review of the Corsair XD5:1 pump. Value) The combination Pump/Sharp xd5 is quite expensive. Of course xd5 is not the most powerful pump ever made as it loses l/h to xspc photon and EK-XTOP D5. But it works. It's like a 1.8 liter Corolla S, you don't need a Lambo D5 because the XD5 takes you where you want to go and it has rgb!2. Noise) The XD5 is pretty quiet. Not much to say here.3. Installation) For those interested in my case, this is a Corsair Crystal 570x with a non-standard radiator mount that I cut out myself with a grinder. Installing the XD5 pump was confusing only because of the two RGB ports on the top. The socket must be connected to either the Pro Lighting Node or the Commander Pro. Male for the chain; You can connect an XC7 water block or a GPU to the XD5 pump connector to have both register with ICUE. Another problem with the Corsair XD5 is the main mount. I wish they would provide 2 of these as they offer a 120mm and a 140mm mounting bracket. My complaint is that one of the sides protrudes too much and I had to do extra planning on how to install the XD5 pump. Overall I think the purchase was worth it. RGB looks great, pump speed depends on ICUE or Asus mobo. πŸ‘
