Great AIO for Ryzen 5000 series

I mounted this top in Corsair 4000d Airflow on an Aorus Master x570. Installation was tricky but not difficult. It cools the 5800x very well. The idle temperatures are between 28 and 32 degrees, and it never exceeds 60 degrees under gaming load. At full load my temperature is 72 degrees. If you are looking for a Ryzen 5000 cooler, especially a hot 5800x, this is a great one. Mounting Tip: Make sure you align it perfectly as the mounting system can move it slightly which will affect theโ€ฆ

What should be easy is ridiculous to establish. 1 star is too much!

I don't see how they can sell this and it has had great reviews literally everywhere I've looked for it. The long screws that drive the fans into the heatsink require such force that you have no choice but to damage the heatsink. I think I'm the only person in the world who bought this and had this problem. Will most likely send it back. This is my first PC build and I'm about to sell only the components I bought because the last 2 coolers I bought were defective.

Radially threaded holes for easy installation

Corsair finally got the message from MANY previous reviewers and started tapping (cutting holes) the heatsink so you can just screw on the fans instead of bolting on the fans . Therefore, installation was easy; Make sure the pump mounts are properly seated in the pump groove. DO NOT overtighten the CPU thumbscrews - gently, not force, apply a little on each side of the pump. If the thermal paste of the CPU/pump block is aging, you can turn the thumbscrews a little more. No ARGB on the H115i XTโ€ฆ

Poor quality control, received 2 damaged heatsinks

Bought this item. First, the screws aren't the right size or the holes aren't cut. Too much effort went into installing the cooler. After installing it, I noticed a large notch in the fin assembly. So I ordered a replacement. It arrived and I pulled it out, excited to finally install it. These ribs are even worse damaged to the extent that one of the water channels is caved in. Someone needs to speak to their quality assurance department. Edit: After getting my second cooler back I finally went

Missing link: Fix correct holes in heatsink

There are many comments on the extra narrow screw holes on the heatsink for this article. These comments are absolutely correct. I had a suitable tap in my tool kit and I turned each of the eight holes on the heatsink about five turns and was able to screw in the provided screws with little effort. I would like to know the exact dimensions of the screw and tap. were, but I happened to have the right one, and it's unmarked. This is my first attempt at building a water cooled PC so I used 8 short

I miss the AM3+ mounts.

A few years ago I had an older AM3+ FX processor and an h100i and loved it. After switching to Ryzen, I decided to go with the stock cooler and ended up wanting another Corsair AIO cooler. I bought this 115i based on my positive experience but immediately regretted it. The decision to mount am4 on these coolers sucks. The Intel brackets actually look like they protect the processor. However, the AM4 brackets are two pieces for each side of the cooler, and they must "snap" onto the box. However,
