CORSAIR Vengeance 2X16GB PC4 28800 Desktop Computer Components Review

I bought this for ASUS TX570-Plus and the frequency didn't exceed 2133MHz. I tried to force install 3600 and it actually refused to post a message asking me to completely reset my BIOS. I thought it might be an incompatibility so I changed it to RAM on another board in my studio. Of course, DDR 2133 comes in a DDR4 3600 package.

I bought this RAM for several reasons. First, I'm a Corsair fan. My Corsair power supply and my keyboard and mouse. I also needed high speed RAM so I went with 3600MHz. It helped when I went into the bios and enabled the xmp profile. You may also need to adjust the tension. I actually bought this RAM twice, I went from 32GB to 64GB because I run a minecraft server and also edit videos. This is a Micron-E crystal that works great at stock speeds and timings but doesn't have much tuning potential. This is the least overclocked RAM I have of the 4 memory kits. It's also the slowest. I have a 2018 Hynix c16 3000mhz memory kit that runs on the 3600 with much better timings and overall faster than this. I have changed my rating from positive to negative. After installation (even at standard times) I get a lot of random blue screen crashes. It started about every 2 days and now it's about 2-3 times a day. I return them and get something else!

Bought 2 sets totaling 64GB for this new graphic design and gaming build. I have a feeling this is the minimum speed I would use (3600MHz). for this PC (see video).

This RAM isn't just for gaming, it also has fancy LEDs. However, only XMP was used, so more than 4000 could not be applied, I don't know if I can't install it or if it's my own program. 3600 use only with pleasure. Works well, easy to install, no problems with my Asus Z370i motherboard. I connected XMP with the timings of the box without any problems. My only issue is that the color is a bit different than other Corsair products. I have LL fans, their RGB strips, their water blocks, and the RAM is blurry/discolored in comparison, like it's a shade of white. To be honest the Ram itself is great I'd say although it's definitely not plug n play like many other Ra's. The first downside is that the frequency defaults to somewhere around 2100, to really get 3600 as advertised you have to go into your bios and overclock it to 3600MHz and change the voltage from 1.35000 to 1.40000 or 1, Increase 450000 instead of being set to auto and also set this option in bios if overclocked not to set manuel or auto but if using intel set xmp i or xmp ii.
