I bought it for a 300 mile bike/camping trip.

Bought this for a 300 mile bike/camping trip with some boys. It fits my 2016 Triumph Thruxton 1200 perfectly. I was able to mount it under my seat and didn't have to worry about it falling off. I have just returned to the area for a short trip and have confirmed that it is very stable. I didn't even notice that on my bike. Very roomy for my things.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Newer model could have been chosen

I expect more from the expensive Cortech bag set

The first trip across the country right after the purchase and the raincoat is torn, does not withstand the wind of 80-90 km/h. I expect better from Cortech's expensive bag set. I should have listened to other reviewers who said they started falling apart in their first year while mine was in its first month. I checked Amazon's return policy and they referred me to Cortech for repair issues and of course Cortech customer service referred me back to Amazon. It seems that Cortech itself doesn't…

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • I have some doubts

Love these saddlebags

I love these saddlebags, they are great for travel and they hold so many things. I still have them on my bike and they have taken me from Pensacola to Myrtle Beach and back! They are very durable, I've dropped and laid my bike many times with these bad guys and can't really tell. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is the fit of the raincoats. They don't have a zip all the way around, so you can't ride them in the rain or when it's windy. If you do, you run the risk of blowing them off…

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Neutral

The first impression is good.

Arrived on time, first impression is good. Looks like decent quality materials, easy to put on thanks to the wide velcro straps on the top and four snaps holding the bottom. Undo the four buckles and you can take everything off and carry it like luggage with a hand strap on top. I put it on backwards so I can access my bags without dismounting from the saddle, and it clears up my ZRX1100's raised tube with plenty of room. (It's closer to the pipe from the normal direction, but still clears it.)

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Crumpled

Not suitable for fz10 on accessory

Hi I bought these as they were cheap and I thought they looked cool. It turns out that the bags are hanging too low and tearing at the tires. No matter how I adjusted the straps that came with the kit, the bag hit the tire on bumps. There is a huge hole in the bottom of my left pocket and I lost all my belongings during the trip and my right pocket goes in this spot too. It was only 1 weekend skiing. The right pocket can't take the heat either as my exhaust melted the hell out of it. I am not…

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Waiting too long

Bags are very good. The rest is cheap. things that are very important. Both zippers broke after 6 months. The straps that attach the bags to the bike are made of incredibly cheap plastic and low-quality nylon webbing. Both plastic clips have snapped and one of the nylon straps is so worn it could break at any second. I've used these bags on 4 long trips and several trips to the grocery store. While the material of the bag is well thought out, the overall product is only as good as its weak…

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Everything is fine

Luggage must be included. Best in Motorcycles and Weightlifting

I have a 2006 Honda CBR600RR with the rear fender off. Luggage was quickly and easily mounted on the rear footpegs. I also carry a matching tail bag and when assembled they are strong and reliable. I had clothes, tools, my laptop and a gun for a week. There were four clip clips when I was at the hotel and my bags were in the room and free to race around town as a road bike. The only thing I could find bad about these bags is that they need a stronger zipper like the one on the tank bag. It…

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • Almost never

Started tearing in less than a year.

Just got back from a 7 day 2100 mile trip and used it all the way. I bought it almost a year ago, on the day of this review the stitching on my left pocket started tearing (see picture). For the price they should last over a year. I wish they had better bindings, the bindings pull the bag in weird directions. I have them on a 2004 Honda CB900F (919). The rain covers need help too, I would recommend attaching them to the bike with a carabiner or similar whilst using them they take in air too…

Pros
  • Quick Exchange
Cons
  • Quality
