    If you are looking for a very small one, this is it.

    Very disappointed. This craft hammer is advertised as 8 inches when it's actually 6 inches. I could probably find something very similar (maybe a rubber mallet) at the Dollar Tree for $1. My 3 year old granddaughter thought it was for her. I am a very small petite woman and she is small for my hand. Buyer Warning! If you are looking for a very small one, this is it.

    Not an 8 " hammer, very small.

    This is NOT an 8" hammer. It is 6". The head is 2" in diameter. It is very small and light (2.7 lbs ) so it takes a lot more effort. Both ends seem to be the same material, although the yellow is a little softer. It doesn't distort the quality when I'm making rings. I use this when they're on a steel mandrel to to make them perfectly round Generally it does what it's supposed to do, but the description doesn't match.

    Great hammer for building LEGO!

    Bought to build adult LEGO models! Anyone who has assembled one of these models will find certain parts that do not compress fully (usually larger flat plate parts). And this little hammer is a real GOD'S GIFT. It's lightweight and has soft rubber and plastic heads that won't damage LEGO pieces if you hit them with a hammer. I first saw the use of this type of hammer on the LEGO MASTERS TV show.

    Seems to be a great investment for a beginner or intermediate.

    Hammer looks well built. We're just getting started with wires so I bought based on other customer reviews. So far it does everything I could want and seems solid for the price. I think there are probably better (and more expensive) jewelry hammers out there, but this seems like a great tool for beginners and as a backup tool for other uses. PS - I know the difference between high end hammers and tools in general. So when I say they feel solid, I mean it.
