The lid is nice and thick. It doesn't quite match the windshield, but it's pretty close. Maybe an inch shorter on either side. I think it makes a big difference to the internal temperature of my truck. It doesn't look like an oven on a hot summer day. Its worth it.

I bought this for a 2018 Chevrolet Colorado Quad Cab (full size 4 doors). I'm surprised at how poor the fit is as it's marked as a 'custom fit' for this car. There are 4" gaps on the rearview mirror and 2" to 3" on both sides. However, the materials of the product are excellent, I wish it could fit better, but still the best sun cover I've found.

I bought this for my 17 Colorado and it doesn't cover the entire windshield. That's about 1/4 inch less. No matter how you position it, it will leave a gap. I'll still recommend it because even with that small margin, it keeps my truck cool even in the hottest Texas summer. It's also very easy to use once I've taken it off and I can feel the warmth emanating from it, but the liner helps me not to burn my fingers.

True, it doesn't match the Chevy Colorado window perfectly. I have a 2019 Chevy Colorado and there is a half inch gap on both sides. But this sunscreen is thick and durable. I hate those flimsy ones you can buy at any store. This sunshade also folds well for easy storage. If you hate those flimsy sunscreens from those auto parts stores. You can try this; Just make sure you get the right size for your car or truck. CHECK THE DIMENSIONS.

Living in Arizona I have experience with almost every style and brand of sun visor. From folding fabric, plain cardboard to insulated reflective folding panels. My last sun visor was the WeatherTech, which is similar in price to the Covercraft and quite good. However, I've never seen a temperature difference nearby with my Covercraft. It is very well made and fits like a glove. In the Phoenix summer months, it's worth every penny.

It seems to be of good quality but the effectiveness for the canyon is reduced by the fact that the cover is smaller than the windscreen in height and as written in the previous review it is is large gaps around the perimeter of the mirror for viewing. But it's still better and more effective than most shades, it's just NOT custom made. And it's expensive! Also, I sent back the first one I received but the seller refused to send it back because I can't provide a tracking number!

This shade is better than the non-insulated round models of the competition, but also 3-5 times more expensive. For the price I was disappointed with the size. It was supposed to fit my 2019 Chev Colorado but only covers about 90% of the windshield. 90% is not scary. But the rearview mirror has a fairly large gap as well as a short gap of about 2 inches across the width of the windshield. Both mentioned use in the 2016 Canyons so I figured it might work better for my 2016 Colorado. I was wrong! I have the same problems as other reviews; probably a 2-4 inch gap across the entire windshield, it won't stay in place unless the sun visors are down and my truck smells VERY funny.
