Gets Stuck on Health Care

I had a bone that was filed under my big toe joint. After that, my podiatrist went straight to that spot and formed a blister. Other plasters and bandages came off as I walked the long walk. Not this one. I was also able to contour it to fit the curves of my leg when putting it on without knocking it off or creating an awkward dart. -- Perfect!

My Doctor's Choice: First Aid

These adhesive strips have impressed me for years, but I've never been able to find them commercially. My dermatologist uses them all the time on me and thanks to Revain I finally have my own regimen and am very happy with it. The strips are the perfect size for my frequent needs and they stay in place really well.

Pros
  • Easy Install
Cons
  • Not Bad

Improved adhesive bandages

These bandages are of good quality. As a nurse, I am familiar with many types of dressings and tapes. I prefer this brand. They stick well and are easy to remove. I used it on a man with skin cancer for six weeks. They didn't cause any pain and worked just as well on the last day as on the first. I highly recommend this product.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Some defects

This caused a significant skin reaction and a return to my dermatologist.

They gave me pimples on my skin and I had to go back to the dermatologist. He called it a reaction to a contact allergy and said to stop using them. I healed but it took about 6 or more days. The box they came in is marked LATEX FREE. I seriously doubt it. I know I'm allergic to latex so why did they cause a skin reaction and a referral to my dermatologist?

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Bad instructions

Much better than normal bandages.

This is exactly the product I needed. They are very absorbent and the bandage fits snugly to the pad. They're very sticky - they're really sticky - but they're also very easy to remove and very easy to apply to the skin. I've had to use them for over 2 1/2 months and my skin is getting quite thin (I'm older). Unlike regular adhesive strips, they don't irritate my skin. They are amazing. Great item, great price and fast delivery.

  • Quality finish

Love it on Bandages & Bandaging Supplies

Adhesive strips are what I needed. I'm allergic to patches, ALL patches. Until now. These stripes cause no reaction at all. I used to get rashes on my skin and if I didn't stop using the band-aid or band-aid, the skin would pit. Nothing like that with these. And they are perfect for the area I am treating. All of this is just luck because I have to treat this lesion within a few weeks. I couldn't do that with any other tape. I don't know who to thank for their production, but whoever it isโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Easy to apply
Cons
  • Having trouble

Small wound dressing and irritating adhesive

These dressings leave a cloth covering and irritated the skin around my fairly infected wounds, making it difficult to keep the dressing in place. I think they're fine as long as your wound isn't infected. The fabric section is small compared to the adhesive area, which I didn't like. I liked the CVS bandages, I got better. They are poor quality in my opinion for the reasons stated - very poor wound coverage for such a large bandage and troublesome adhesive. Not worth the money.

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • New competition is here

Just what I needed to dress my wound

My husband had a melanoma removed from his upper ear. The D removal range was quite large and I bought several boxes of bandages and tape but none of them were flexible enough to bend over the top of the ear or cane. The hospital sent us some of these blankets home, but they aren't enough for the three weeks he says it takes to close the wound. So I entered exactly what I was looking for, a 2 x 3 inch bedspread. And thank goodness it showed up. I immediately ordered some and they arrived today.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • So-so

These strips are expensive and lead the customer to believe that the actual cushioned area is greater than it actually is. Actual size of 1" x 1-3/8" is barely larger than the last on the regular J&J 1" x 3" strip. You have too much glue, which can also be very difficult to remove. Another comment concerns their poor ability to stay dry during use. Some flexible strips of tissue can withstand a small splash or a few drops without water penetrating the wound. However, the fabric of these stripsโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
