Simple but effective

Excellent quality and product. I just wish he had more pucks, but that's okay. There's nothing a quick trip to the hardware store can't solve.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not bad

The Best Lifesaver Among Harmonic Balancer Repair Kits

savior when reinstalling the harmonic balancer. The main reason? It is longer than the original screw and prevents your screw from ruining the threads, even if you snag on the threads that are too short. You will reuse the original screw once this balancer is reinstalled.

Pros
  • It's OK!
Cons
  • I don't remember, but there was something

Not easy at all

M16x2 threaded rod is good for crank disc assembly. The only downside I see is that you have to weld the "auxiliary" end of the bolt to the nut so it doesn't get stuck during installation like mine did. The accessory nut allows you to hold the second wrench by the knot to keep it from spinning.

Pros
  • Very fast delivery
Cons
  • Faulty

Minor design flaw otherwise good enough

A simple but effective tool to refit the LS Harmonic Balancer on the crankshaft saves you the trouble of finding the parts yourself (you'll have to contact your local workshop). screw supplier, Home Depot does not have materials with this thread pitch). One thing missing is a way to get the bolt out of the crankshaft mounting hole when you're done. They could have done that by rotating the flat about half an inch to put the key in, but they didn't. As a workaround, I visited a local bolt…

Pros
  • Good thing
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

Basic but works with motors and parts

Of course it's just a piece of hardened threaded bolt, a nut and 2 washers. Anyone can do it themselves by going to a hardware store and doing a little work. Personally, I've decided it's better to let someone else do the work and pay a little more for the convenience. The tool works great as it should. I sharpened 2 parallel flats at the very end of the threaded rod that fits a 12mm open end wrench as common sense tells you it will likely get stuck in the crankshaft after the pulley is…

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Miscellaneous
