The opening to the slipper Is fairly tight I've had them for over a month and it's only loosened up a little bit which is nice in the sense that they don't fly off My feet. However, I can't slip them on and run. I have to reach down and pull them on. So if you're looking for something you can stick your feet in and run. This is not it. These have helped me get through the last few winters in the mountains. They wash and dry well, and are a bit tighter after but they loosen up again. They’re not exactly cute but they get the warm feet job done.

This product runs a little small, so order up a size. Other than that, these slippers are great! We hit below zero this week and wind chills of -30f. My feet were toasty warm. I did not even have to put on heavy socks. Sometimes when the temp is more seasonal, my feet even get too hot in them. I'm thinking to buy another pair to have when these wear out. I have bought 4 pairs of these and they are so warm and comfortable. They are a little tight at first, but stretch to fit pretty quickly. They don't make my feet sweat and the soles are strong enough to go out in my gravel backyard comfortably. I buy backup pairs so when they wear out I can still have some.
