Description of CPE220 5.8G Wireless Bridge PTMP WiFi PTP Point to Point Outdoor Network CPE with 2KM Transmission Distance, 12DBi High-Gain Antenna, 2 LAN 100MBps Ethernet Ports, and 24V PoE Adapter

GOODTHREE CPE220 wireless bridge is a 5.8G Long Range WiFi Extender Outdoor CPE with a digital display. It complies with the IEEE802.11a and IEEE802.11n,standards to ensure interoperability. Point-to-point pairing also can be done by dialing without having to access the GUI, avoid the complex setup program, save much human work and cost, make the long-range wireless coverage, data transmit, and wireless monitoring simple and professional. PTMP Pre-programmed: Out of the box, connect the 2 wireless bridges and PoE adapters through the ethernet cable for power supply, and wait for 1 minute for the "Link" green indicator to light up to indicate that they have been automatically paired succeeded(Point to Point). Suitable to extend the internet to your garage, barn, warehouse, store via wireless transmission, instead of laying out the ethernet cable. Using 5.8G / 300Mbps wireless transmission rate between wireless bridges can support 2KM transmission distance(Barrier-free), and can provide up to 100Mbps wired network speed, suitable for connecting the networks in 2 or more buildings, internet access sharing, remote video camera surveillance, or remote network WiFi access. Extend the network to another building within 2KM through a point-to-point method. The master CPE receiver is connected to your internet through a PoE adapter, and the slave CPE transmitter is connected to the router(AP mode) or directly to the computer through a PoE adapter to expand your network/WiFi to another building, such as expand your home network to store. Realize remote camera video surveillance or elevator monitoring through wireless bridge point-to-point or point-to-multipoint. The master CPE receiver is connected to a DVR, or monitor, or computer through a PoE adapter, and the slave CPE transmitter is connected to an IP Camera through a PoE adapter to expand your camera surveillance range. Reference pictures are easy to connect CPE with IP cameras & networks DVR.

Easy to install and ready to use

Works great, no programming required. An Internet LAN line into a box and receiving an Internet LAN signal from another box. Couldn't be easier. First I bought two different sets of KuWFi radio bridges and both did NOT work. I spent two weeks getting them to work and they ended up getting both back. Installed CPE220 in an hour with no problems. Choose CPE220 or CPE520 and keep your wits about you.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Almost everything included

Error after 45 days

One of the devices is not responding to wired connections after 45 days of usage. The reset failed to restore the device. Shame as they were very basic and easy to set up. My performance was a solid 30 megabits both ways, rather than the advertised 100 megabits. It was fine though as it was a stable, low latency connection and I only needed 10 megabytes to make it worthwhile. I was very happy with them until one stopped working. Now it ends up in a landfill.

Excellent customer service

We recommend this product for its features and the excellent customer service that the company offers. We bought this product to extend the network between two nearby buildings to be able to see security cameras. After setting up the device, it works as advertised. We emailed the company with questions about setting up the device and they responded within 24 hours with all the information we needed. Then about a week later they contacted us to make sure everything was working properly, which…

Good buy, fast shipping even to Alaska! Ethernet cable not included

The Wireless Bridge comes pre-wired, so there are no buttons to press or switches to flick. My main internet router is connected to the included power supply and the transmitting internet bridge is also connected to the same power supply (Photo 1). The signal is great and I connected a second router (Apple Airport Extreme in Photo 2) to the wireless bridge to give it even further range. After ordering, a helpful PDF user guide was automatically emailed to me. Requires up to 4 Ethernet cables…

Works right away, great customer service

I have a swimming pool about 30 yards from my house and a garage about 50 yards from my house. The Ubiquiti hotspot covers the back of the house and the pool deck, but the garage is outside of reliable WiFi range. The Homeseer zNet home automation node, which uses 2.4G WiFi, went down intermittently, so it's time to tackle the wireless bridge to provide a failover connection. After looking at many products that met my needs and reading online reviews, I purchased the CPE220. Some of these…
