🔧 CPS BlackMax MBH4P5EZ 2V Manifold with R-134A, 22, 404A, 410A Gauges and 5’ Premium BV Hoses Review

When my husband saw these sensors for the first time he was immediately in love. I knew as soon as we had money I had to get it to him and I was sure that I would finally get it. He almost never lets her out of his range. Thanks to whoever developed this, you've done a great job.

bought the black max and the first thing i noticed was the high pressure gauge on the left hand side not the right hand side, don't know if it's supposed to be that way but I've never had a gauge set like this, high pressure is always on the right. I had to swap them. except they seem good.

The composite gauge and high side are clear, easy to read and very well constructed. I suggest adding a low loss fitting because it sprays. I accidentally switched to heating on a 410a system and was unharmed. Solid black can ruin you when you're in a hurry to service ports. In general, a great addition to the digital set.

Seems to be a good set of sensors. However, the valves on the ends of the hoses are plastic and I'm afraid they will break easily. I probably wouldn't have bought them if I had known about them. Also, the hoses don't tighten very well at either end and come loose easily. The rubber around the valve heads is loose and moves a lot. They don't look like they'll protect much if they fall.

Junk, overpriced junk, sheet metal was dented and scratched, gauges didn't hold up to calibration and worst of all the schrader valve coming straight out of the box is the bottom hose physically broken, Revain won't even give a partial refund or replace the hoses, they want me to send a replacement set which takes a week to ship, complete rubbish, I have a lot of CPS and now I will never buy from them again. I do HVAC for a living. I have used Yellow Jacket and Hilmore gauges with great success. They seem good, I hooked them up to my personal unit to make sure the ball valve hoses and also the manifold valves didn't blow out. They worked as they should. The point where the hoses attach to the manifold seems rough due to the chrome finish, I'm used to smoothing brass fittings. Product calibrated after every 3 uses yes easy to read and yes easy to use but when all 3 hoses are leaking through the valves to the hose connector it is very annoying when you think your system is leaking is you spend hours looking for leaks when you can't find any leaks in your HVAC&R box then decide you want me to just have this so called new gauge set checked when you first connect it to the HVAC&R -System hooked up then realized it wasn't a block but 3 brand new hoses that came with your…
