However I wouldn't call them "Tactical" they do fit great, pretty comfortable, like high top sneakers, perform like a sneaker also, the tread isn't good for hiking or woods, good with Sandy Terr hot weather climate in low land Afghanistan or desert areas in Iraq. I'm on my feet all day long moving pallets and covering 3 corners of a 200,000 square foot building. These are more comfortable than all the footware I have used for the last 6 years even when I was covering half the distance I do now. The tongue needed a snip where it folds against the inside of ankle. The fold created uncomfortable pressure. Once it was snipped it became tolerable. Once they wear-in I’m sure there will be no issue

These are some of the most comfortable boots I have owned. I use an orthotics in the boot and still enough room for tge toes to move. I walk 1-2 miles everyday with my dog and these have been great for my ankle support and overall comfort. Highly recommend.

Originally ordered my normal size 12 and had to return because they were way too big. Reordered size 11 and they fit just right. They're a bit stiff so hopefully they break in quickly.
