    Almost Perfect Boys Best

    Bought for my son's BSA uniform. Everything was fine, but the belt loops were a bit short and it was very difficult to thread the belt through the loops.

    Med 10/12 fit my 9 year old.

    Good pants. Med 10/12 fit my 9 year old a bit loose and comfortable. The adjustable elastic band makes the waist perfect. It will be great for his next fishing tournament.

    Bought another pair today

    I have ordered two pairs of these. My two children have different body shapes. Thanks to the adjustable waist, they are perfect for both. The legs are wide and long. The material is light and perfect, we rode over 4 miles each through dense undergrowth and had no grips or issues.

    A little thin for kids.

    She punctured her knee on her first trip. I wouldn't say it wasn't even a note drop that caused the hole he made. But they are very thin which is great for breathability but bad for being worn by a kid. (Obviously they will be rude with their clothes.) Will look for other places for kids hiking pants in the future. The zips appear to be of excellent quality, although so far we haven't had any problems zipping the shorts up or putting them back on to the pants.

    Perfect for boys hiking

    Bought these for my boys before going to Yellowstone and the Glacier. They wore them almost every day while driving and unbuttoned their trousers in the afternoon when it was warm. The pants are comfortable and the hidden elastic waistband keeps them from falling off my elderly toothpick. The pants are a bit large and I ordered one size smaller than I originally ordered for all the children. They are of medium height and tall for their age; I ordered the size based on her age.

    Great length and quality but ridiculously narrow waist. I could tell before my son tried them on that they would be difficult to fasten. The rest of the pants are baggy in comparison. There is no elastic on the belt (as in one of the photos in the review) - the only elastic inside, with buttons, like children's trousers (the photos in the advertisement correspond to reality). My son is skinny but I wouldn't say he is skinny. Pants also ride up at the crotch. We bought size 7. He wears a size…

    Can't comment on durability as we just got it. I bought my son a pair of navy blue convertible pants as an alternative to the official Scout pants. The material is much thinner than scout pants, but looks good with the uniform and is similar in color to the shirt. The zipper legs are ok. But the back pockets are completely fake, which looks silly on hiking pants. All in all, I'm not sure if they're worth the price. I will save as our scout shop is far away and they charge a lot for shipping…

    We bought these for my son as he is a Webelo and needs a new uniform. Those are great pants. They're pretty much comparable to the ones my oldest son wears from the Boy Scout store, but sometimes cheaper. The material is thin, but that means it dries quickly if it gets wet.
