Based on our own experience, we recommend against these pants for Sports and Outdoors activities. While the cargo pockets were useful, we found the material to be quite flimsy and not up to the challenges of a serious hiker. Additionally, after only a few wears, the stitching started to come apart which made us skeptical of its long-term durability. Save your money and invest in something more reliable.

Great pants but too small for my 11 year old boy. He's tall so I figured a 13 year old would be perfect. The length was ok, the rest was tight and it's slim.
