Frame very well packaged! I took the frame out of the box and immediately noticed scratches and cuts on the protective film covering the plexiglass. I was hoping the scratches were superficial and didn't penetrate the plexiglass itself. Well, unfortunately there was a scratch that pierced the plastic sheet. For almost $40 I was expecting a slightly better solid wood and glass frame that was well constructed and had quality fasteners to hold everything together. This one Frame does not contain any of the above.The frame looks like wood but feels too light and almost plastic and feels like it is some kind of composite material.Glass is not glass but plexiglass which is a cheap alternative to plastic, which scratches very easily. I bought a 24x36 frame with a 20x30 print mat and after reading the reviews I was skeptical. I received it and it turned out that the plastic glass was damaged, but I was happy to know that both sides were covered with a protective film. All traces remained on the film. When I removed the film the plastic was intact and ready to shoot - I cleaned both sides with Vindex but that probably wasn't necessary.
