🔍 Optimized Search: Creative Grids CGR18 Rectangle Ruler - 6.5x18.5 Size Review

I've tried different quilting rulers and these are the best. Have grip pads on the bottom and less slip when cutting. I'm slowly transitioning to all Creative Grids!

I ordered this creative grid to measure and get a straight line when cutting fabric. It was fantastic and I would recommend it to other people who sew or do crafts.

Creative Grids are by far the BEST rulers so I always use their brand of rulers. Being new to quilting I already had a 6x24 but needed something smaller as 6x24 was sometimes too big and unwieldy for all your cuts. I received a second 6 x 12 ruler thinking it would fit, but it was too short. 6x18 is the perfect size as that extra 6 inches makes a difference as it is long enough to cut the folded footage along with everything else. 6x12 is good for really small cutting jobs but not practical as…

I've tried/used literally every line available. I think it's fair to say that I chose Omnigrid. But I hate that yellow stripe because it makes it so hard to see the fabric line underneath. Also, I've tried all sorts of "stabilizers" for rulers - first it was Omnigrip, then Grace came out with these little donuts (which work really well), but now I mainly use Guideline4Quilting strips.
