Purchased to use with School Smart washable paint at a child's birthday party. The brushes didn't pick up enough paint to make a good solid line when brushing on paper (which was very absorbent and worked great when the kids switched to using their fingers). Were the kids disappointed? (which is important for a child of that age). Thank goodness there was a pinata shop nearby (another $60 was invested in a giant Nemo and all the candy and prizes it takes to stuff it).

I found it too cheap to buy 30 brushes with wooden handles for $13 but they are made of very cheap plastic. Plastic but I dared to believe that "Maybe they had a plastic coating on the wood. I received a product called Round colossal brushes, not wooden colossal brushes. In fact, the brushes have plastic handles. Like the other reviewer, my brushes smell like nail polish. A few hairs from the bristles come off the brushes right out of the box, but I've used other cheap brushes and that happens. These brush heads at least feel like they're firmly glued to the handle.
