I bought two tool kits, one for my daughter and one for her friend as gifts. We opened a package and found that the smaller loom was missing two handles. My daughter loves the big loom and likes to knit on it. However, she was frustrated that she couldn't use a smaller loom because it was missing two handles.

First time knitting here and I finished it overnight for my daughter. Super cute and funny. Only complaint is the stickers that are placed on the face keep falling off so I had to super tape them. I like that the machines are reusable. Just buy more yarn and you can make all sorts of goodies. Ps I bought this for my kids but they weren't interested in learning so I played with it and had a blast. and I'm 35 :-)

Excellent! This is a great way to support the anti-bullying movement! This makes the hat more the size of a 7 year old than an adult. The only thing that bothered me was that the yarn is just amazing, but it's made specifically for the set so can't be bought separately. I have been knitting on a loom for many years and I love this idea! There is everything you need to get started! Makes 2 hats and includes 2 faux leather charms! Love it! Great for kids too!

The 7 year old son likes it very much. He is a creative and clever kid and he really wanted to knit his first hat. Gave him a real sense of accomplishment and helped keep him busy. This loom makes knitting a lot less of a hassle than trying two needles and allows it to be almost completely self-sufficient (I helped with the first few stitches, removing the project and attaching the tassels). This is a great product for learning to knit and introduces any child to yarn crafting.

While the YouTube video shows the adult founder of #hatnothate wearing a hat said to have been made on this loom, this loom is not big enough to make hats for adults. I tried the second hat differently and it's even smaller. The stitch is very loose (maybe because I'm a beginner) but I think it's some kind of yarn so it sags a bit even when worn by a kid and doesn't give much warmth. I love the concept of the loom and the anti-bullying message, but I thought people should know what size hat…

I really liked the set, concept and campaign "Hat not hate". But my hat has become too small or doesn't stretch as much. The Craft Yarn Council states that the head circumference of juveniles is 20 to 22 inches, while that of adult females is 21 to 23 inches. I'd say it's less than 22 inches since that's what I measure and it's way too small for me. I'll try to make the next one since you gave me yarn for two hats in the kit. I like the look of the hat.

Funny product. But the directions are blurred. The little loom came with a few screws in the box. I went to put them back in place and found that the other pins were badly hot glued. Some were even pasted upside down. The groove should face outward through which the hook can be threaded. With a groove inside, this is not possible.
