Too sticky for scrapbooking and stamping

I'd rather attach every letter of the vinyl clipping from the entire Webster dictionary to the ceiling of Grand Central Station than use this transfer tape. If you use it over and over again it's just too sticky and won't release the vinyl. I've tried it on multiple surfaces. I tried it on various vinyls (glitter etc.). I tried using a microfiber cloth to remove some of the stickiness. I tried pulling slowly, pulling at an angle, using a hook, using a spike gun, spraying him with alcohol…

Pros
  • Best in the Niche
Cons
  • It's OK

Great for my craft needs.

For anyone looking for a decent transfer tape, I've had good luck with this one. I bought a second roll after my original purchase because I really like it. I've tried several brands and I really like one as it's not very sticky, I can easily highlight what I'm transferring and apply it to my surface and it comes off without a problem. I don't like the kind of tape that sticks to the surface and ruins your project when you try to remove it. I'd say it's more of a light to medium transfer tape…

Pros
  • 1 12" x 48" Roll of Transfer Tape
Cons
  • Doubt

Stickier than my PERMANENT OUTDOOR Oracal 651 vinyl.

This material was WAY too sticky for my project. Maybe putting the vinyl on something very smooth like stainless steel or glass would work, but I had to put it on painted wood signs. The surface was perfectly clean and fairly smooth, but the difference in wood texture seemed enough for the vinyl to stick to the transfer tape instead. I've tried everything. even started peeling the vinyl off the tape so maybe it kept peeling off and stuck to the surface instead, but it was no use. "Transfer…

Pros
  • A light printed grid helps you align your project precisely
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Cricut Transfer Tape has deteriorated

Just a few months ago I would have given this transfer ribbon 5 stars. It was the only brand I would buy. But Cricut changed the tape and now it's too sticky to use. He doesn't release vinyl and has ruined a lot of my projects. The projects he didn't destroy took three times longer to complete a project than their previous volume. In addition to a stronger hold, the band is thinner. It will wrinkle when applied to the vinyl and when the vinyl is then transferred to the surface it will create…

Pros
  • Press the vinyl image onto a clean surface, working outwards from the center, smoothing and pressing as you go. Cuts with all machines Circuit
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
