Review on 🎨 Cricut Vinyl Transfer Tape 1FTx4FT White - High-Quality 4-Foot Long Adhesive Tape for Easy Crafting by Amy Mcleod

Stickier than my PERMANENT OUTDOOR Oracal 651 vinyl.

This material was WAY too sticky for my project. Maybe putting the vinyl on something very smooth like stainless steel or glass would work, but I had to put it on painted wood signs. The surface was perfectly clean and fairly smooth, but the difference in wood texture seemed enough for the vinyl to stick to the transfer tape instead. I've tried everything. even started peeling the vinyl off the tape so maybe it kept peeling off and stuck to the surface instead, but it was no use. "Transfer Tape" felt stickier than my regular street vinyl, so I not only spent money on this material, but also on the vinyl, which I had to throw away and cut because I couldn't get it off the tape. It seems like a lot of people in these reviews are using contact paper instead, which would be a lot less sticky. It doesn't have to be super sticky. enough to lift the vinyl from the backing paper. I'll try that next time. Until then, this scrap lies unused in the box.

Pros

Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
