Hard wearing and good quality. Bought for my wife and she loves that it has a raised hem for protection. She said it could be a bit awkward for small cuts and she wished there was a smaller version but overall very happy with it.

Grab one and don't worry about cutting your fingertips. It's very well made with a good rubber bottom to keep work in place. Aluminum with steel ruler. Well marked for accurate measurements.

worth every penny This is the best ruler I have ever used. I'm used to the old cork-backed metal ruler, but this thing is beautifully constructed. The markings are engraved in aluminium, the finger guard ensures stability, the steel blade can be wrapped around the knife without scratching. And the bottom of the rubber is textured and partially inlaid. Works great.

I needed a general use ruler and am pleasantly surprised with the overall quality and build of this 18 inch ruler. I like the finger protection, the non-slip underside and especially the steel insert on the cutting edge, which prevents edge damage when using the ruler as a ruler with a razor. A very impressive range and a major upgrade over the standard stainless steel or aluminum range. worth your money.
