Small tiny curls and easy to use. Can get very close to the root. I was worried the curls would emerge and look weird under the little top hair I left uncurled, but you can't even tell. After that I used a root spray and got volume until I washed my hair!

I suspect the product I received is defective as I have to keep it on my hair for almost a minute at the highest temperature. This also hardly frizzes the hair.

I bought this to add volume to my hair. This is nice because on my dark hair the perm isn't as noticeable, but it doesn't create as much volume as I'd like. If I put some mousse on the roots before blow-drying, it helps a lot to maintain the volume, which is good for the hair on the second and third day.
