Great article on turntables and accessories

Developed by Project with the Crosley name added, this quality turntable sounds great with an Ortofon cartridge. The look of wood is also truly amazing and suits any contemporary aesthetic and is a talking point when others look at it. The sound quality is wonderful and clear, you won't regret this player once you get it! The only downside is that it's a manual player and you have to stop it when the disc is empty, but that's a minor inconvenience when using this style.

Pioneer Vintage Turntable Replacement

My Pioneer PL-35 turntable has finally died after 45 years. I debated for a long time whether to repair it or buy a new one. I decided to make something new but with a vintage design. Crosley C10 is a very good turntable. The sound is good and looks great. So far I'm happy with the solution. I can pull out my scratched old records and try to survive college without drugs, hair and women. I doubt it will last 45 years like the Pioneer but I'm 69 and I don't mind as I won't be there anyway.

Pros
  • Absolutely Amazing!
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Excellent player

I am very happy with this player. My original AR XR turntable eventually decided to ditch the Ghost and the Crosley C10 (made by Pro-Ject) was a great replacement. I know some reviewers have complained about background noise, but I don't have these issues. Mine is surprisingly quiet (make sure you connect the included ground wire and keep your desk a safe distance from the speakers), the included Ortofon OM 5E cartridge is really quiet, and my ears don't pick up any drive speed issues. My vinyl

Pro Ject Debut III for less than $300!

This TT says Crosby on the dust cap and base, but it's a Pro Ject Debut III (discontinued) for less than $300! A solid steel plate, an improved Pro Ject tonearm (Pro Ject is right on it) with a counterweight and a very good Ortofon OM5 pickup. Sounds good. Better than my Fluance 81 with ME95 cartridge. There's some engine noise and the dust cover hinges are so tight that it's difficult not to move the CT when you open it. And the strange anti-skate is much discussed on the internet. My…

Great for such a price

I've been collecting and listening to albums for over 30 years. Rock of the 60's and 70's. This device exceeded all expectations. I am completely satisfied. I can't imagine the small details of sound improvement that can add up to hundreds or thousands of dollars being spent on a TT. Add to that a beautiful, sublime visual presentation. My last TT was a Dennon DP 300F. This machine is MUCH superior and I really liked it. More precisely: The arm release lever works slowly and gently. He lands in

  • I'm looking forward to it
