Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great for such a price

I've been collecting and listening to albums for over 30 years. Rock of the 60's and 70's. This device exceeded all expectations. I am completely satisfied. I can't imagine the small details of sound improvement that can add up to hundreds or thousands of dollars being spent on a TT. Add to that a beautiful, sublime visual presentation. My last TT was a Dennon DP 300F. This machine is MUCH superior and I really liked it. More precisely: The arm release lever works slowly and gently. He lands in the leader's groove and misses almost every time. I can't do it with my hand. The speed tested by the RPM application is close to perfect. The engine is almost silent. The stabilizing legs cushion all steps in my experience, my dogs even played in front of the TT area and there was no hesitation to be heard. Dennon almost always swayed. And remember, I've loved this thing for 10 years. The Dennon is fully automatic, though, which can be a nice touch. what would i change Detachable RCA/Ground. That's all. I also love the needle that comes with it. I'm used to spending more than 200 on it. This entry level needle is great. I'm sure I'll update it in about a year if it needs to be replaced, but so far very satisfied. Or maybe I'll buy another one of them. More than two months now and maybe 100 albums. I've thought about it for several months and narrowed the research. Pulled the trigger on this thing and couldn't be happier. It comes with a pin alignment tool if/if you change it and I have a $13 digital scale to adjust the downforce on Amazon to perfectly zero the tonearm.

Pros
  • I'm looking forward to it
Cons
  • Something different
