Not doing well here in Florida. When you get out of the car, you need to remove the mount. Suction power is mediocre at best. Maybe the detector I have. Max 360. Is it made for that? I had one that melted and all the glue dripped onto the inside of my windshield. It was very painful to shoot. If you remove it when not driving, it works perfectly. It still lasts longer than the expensive Escort brand. They disintegrate in no time, Escort will not replace them either.

That's better than the one with the Escort Radar Detector! I bought one and used it in my work truck and it worked so well I bought another to install in my personal car. I've had them in the hot sun for a couple of months now and firmly attached to the windshield as opposed to the factory suction cup mount that comes with the new detector. I highly recommend this lot. I have used Rader detectors for decades and this is the best suction cup mount I have ever used.

This is a great mount. The angle is adjustable, so it works at any windshield angle, which also allows you to maintain the height of the radar detector. But what I like most is that the radar detector can be detached and left on the windshield. I will be buying 2 more of these for my other 2 car radar detectors. The mount works great on both radars. Update date from 05/21/20: They also work on my new radar detector Beltronic Pro 300.

I had the normal companion mount that came with my Redline radar after having problems with it for the past few weeks (the mount kept coming out) and at the urging from friends, I decided on a better windshield mount and came across it at Revain. I'm a little tired of a new product with no reviews but decided to take a chance. He is perfect! It fits better than the standard escort and is very durable. It will be difficult to remove and look forward to many months of continuous use.

I have a 9500ix companion pass and over time the suction cups lost their shape causing them to lose their ability to stick to my windshield. I came across this mount and it is 10x better than the stock mount. In fact, this is the mount they should have supplied with the detector in the first place. Aiming the detector is a lot easier with this adjustable back mount as opposed to the nightmare they had with their OEM clip where you just had to bend the metal mount. Also for Subaru owners who…

Works as it should, only one complaint is that the part of the barrel that the Uniden part goes in has grooves or teeth that hold that part in place. The Uniden part added for the detector does not fit. I found a washing machine that was NEVER listed in the instructions. And I've squeezed it between two parts and it doesn't move as easily as it used to. The shock and detector weren't aligned, so the black, thin plastic disk that was in my seat after I opened the packaging did the trick. I'm…

Others have mentioned this (either this product or similar) but really need a different adjustment axis. Dead center of the detector (left-right), it can "steer" off the road, resulting in poor line of sight both forward and backward. It's not always possible (or safe to see) to place it in a blind spot, so having it a little away from the rearview mirror is ideal, but then the line-of-sight angle changes too much. Modern windshields can have quite a bit of lateral curvature, and unless you place the detector in the dead center (left-right) it can "steer" inward from the road, resulting in poor visibility both forward and backward leads.
