🌀 Think Crucial Replacement Eureka Smart Vac Hose: Fits Whirlwind 4870, Part # 61247-1 Compatible Review

It's new so I don't know how long it will last but so far it looks and works well. My big disappointment is that it's about a foot shorter than the original when both are stretched. The original was barely enough to make a 10 step ladder (5 steps down and 4 up), so it might not work for a 10 step ladder, let alone the usual 12 or 13 steps. .

The original hose to the vacuum cleaner broke. Ordered online through Think Crucial and received it on time. Installation was another matter. I had to have a special screwdriver to remove parts before installing the hose. After disassembly I was able to install it fairly easily before reattaching the parts. It took about 15 minutes to finish. I am very happy with the replacement part. Many thanks to Think Crucial for sending the part quickly at such a good price.

Pleasantly surprised! It fits perfectly on my 10 year old Eureka Smartvac, "The Boss", model #4870. Very easy replacement of the old hose. My husband had the idea. I didn't think this would fit/work and was looking for some flexible tape to fix the tears/holes in the old hose. I wish I had done that many years ago when the first hole formed in the hose. Pros: Inexpensive option and supplier will send them to you immediately. Cons: This is our second purchase of the same brand at a low price in the last year and a half. If you frequently vacuum where it pulls out of the sweeper, expect to see tears in the grip area or near the connection to the sweeper in less than a year (plastic tubing material is fairly flimsy and prone to tearing - keep duct tape willing to use this hose primarily for the sweeper if it stays in place on your boss sweeper ie
