Very decent: Internals

I overclocked these modules to see how they could handle it, although I had no intention of supporting OC as they are not very good at dissipating constant heat, but with AMD's overclocking tools, they are very well perceived different timings and frequencies. However, saving the settings wasn't pleasant; Every time I restarted my computer, they were reset to the default settings, although I've tried changing them in many ways. These modules were not actually designed to operate above the…

Is working! Install and go! Okay, first fix errors and then move on!

I liked the price. Liked the reviews. I ordered an upgrade from 4GB (2x2) to 8GB (2x4). There was some concern about how this RAM would work with my MSI motherboard and the original RAM. According to Crucial, everything is compatible. Easily installed cards in 2 open slots. Booted up and both BIOS and Win7 immediately recognized all 8GB. Win7 immediately showed a loop freeze, and every 30-45 seconds the active Windows panels were deactivated (you had to click them again). Was skeptical it was…

Very good RAM for the price.

I bought these to upgrade my Windows 7 Core 2 Duo system. I previously had 2GB of RAM on Windows 7 32-bit. My system is relatively fast, but I definitely felt like it needed a RAM upgrade. I used the CPU/RAM widget in Windows and it was always using around 40-50% of my idle RAM! Now, after the update, the standby RAM usage is around 20%. Has the meaning. I looked online for a few more technical reviews for this RAM and yes it won the Best of Tom's Hardware award. For the best value for money. I

Memory works great at a good price - non-technical review

My wife's computer has Windows 7 x64 and 4 gigabytes of memory, but the computer was sluggish. I installed these two chips with 2 gigabytes in addition to the 4 gigabytes already installed and now your computer has 8 gigabytes of total memory. The new memory worked great in combination with the old memory, even though it was a different brand. Sometimes this can be a problem. Now it feels good to use her computer. This memory upgrade was the most cost-effective way to improve the performance of

Make sure the motherboard is correct

I made a mistake linking my motherboard to this RAM. Your RAM will only work if you know the right chipset and motherboard. I bought another Crucial branded 4GB RAM stick from the Crucial website. I found the motherboard I had on the Crucial website and matched it to the type of RAM I needed for my motherboard. My Crucial 4GB RAM stick works great and is cheap for the amount I got. My hardware configuration is: (motherboard) GB H81M-HD2, (processor) 1150 socket Celeron G1820 Haswell, 4 GB RAM…

My first RAM expansion

My first memory expansion. I bought a 2GB card to expand my HP Pavilion desktop from 4GB to 6GB. I got the RAM specs from the HP website for my computer. The YouTube videos were very helpful in understanding how the white plastic latches on the memory slots work. (I had to move them first.) There were two empty memory slots, but I couldn't find any information on which slot to use, so just put the new card next to the existing cards. I started by orienting the card so that the ICs were facing…

Excellent RAM Excellent price

This is an excellent RAM, better design and quality than the RAM that came with my computer when I bought it new, very easy to install, they will offer it when you upgrade. Your RAM you should get a kit because they work better as they are the same brand it's bullshit that you don't need to buy a kit if you just want to add 2 gigabytes for an extra speed boost as long as the specs are the same just synced ok on my computer i have 3 different brands of ram for a total of 8 gigabytes they work…
