My Dyson DC25 no longer rolled smoothly and the cyclone was slow. I found that the roller brush and end cap hinge were split. I ordered this kit, cleaned the pre and post filters thoroughly and disassembled the cyclone for cleaning. Installed and plugged in a new brush in minutes. The vacuum cleaner is back to normal and works like new.

Our DC25 beast is still a beast in a vacuum after almost 10 years. However, the brush was worn out and the end cap fell off badly due to wear. Chose it based on reviews and price and was NOT disappointed! The brush fits just like the old one, and the end cap fits snugly and snaps securely into place. It's like a new vacuum again and couldn't be happier.

Avoid this brand! I bought it in November 2019. This was an improvement over my 10 year old roller head as the bristles had just worn out. However, the end of the reel broke and it collapsed into the reel. This replacement reel is definitely not worth the money. You just need to buy another soon after. The vacuum it's in is only good for light use, so there's no reason to damage it after limited use.

Replacement Crucial roller brush for Dyson DC25 Animal perfect fit. The roller brush change took less than 5 minutes (closer to 2 minutes). It took longer to find a coin to drive the screw than it did to install. We also use Crucial replacement filters. They are durable and fit perfectly. We bought 2 sets: 1 set is in use and the second is on standby. REQUIRED: Check out the detailed instructions on YouTube posted by Crucial. End caps: included but I don't know why. It's sad when the vacuum cleaner works properly, but after trying these parts I'm thrilled! My Dyson was so loud and rattling like crazy. The roller brush completely broke an end cap. After replacing it works like new. It collects at least five times more hair and dirt than before. We have 2 Golden Retrievers that shed all the time so after 5 days of no vacuuming I was happy to see how well these parts are working! Parts fit perfectly, exchange took 2 minutes.
