I bought this for my Model 3. I was able to use it but had some installation issues. The Tesla Model 3 front license plate bracket is bent. This requires the plate to flex to fit the mount. This mount is too rigid to bend and I had to bend it to get it into the right shape. This review is for the Acura RL's California license plate. First of all I would like to say that this frame is of very good quality. Very strong, doesn't even want to twist. It's a good weight too. Just installed today. July 23, 2013 on the back of our 2006 Lincoln Town Car and it looks spot on. It is made of chromed metal (zinc), not plastic. As received the chrome finish is fine but after reading reviews that it was deteriorating I coated it with Simoniz front and rear including the mounting lugs prior to installation. UPDATE: I had to replace this after 3 years. But only because the rear of my car stood up and the frame couldn't withstand the accident.
